Excuses - er, I mean, an announcement!

No code this week! But I have been doing some hacking - I'm very happy to say that I've joined the Degrafa team, and I'm hard at work on some new features, starting with bindable filters. What's that mean? Well the short of it is that you'll be able to bind filter parameters to data in MXML, and Degrafa will know about the updates and re-render when appropriate. No more: "var tmp:Array = foo.filters; foo.filters=null; foo.filters = tmp;". I don't know about you guys, but I'm *sick* of doing that :)

It's not much, and the changes aren't ready to go upstream into SVN yet so you can't use the features, but you can see an example of what I'm talking about here. For some reason it's much smoother on Mac than Windows (at least with Player 9), but it's just a work-in-progress.

It's not final, but I'm trying to find a nice way to let you use the Degrafa bindable filters on regular DisplayObjects. No promises, but I'm trying!
